haiku haiku

Part 1 of 15 in the series distracted by haiku

Series Navigation:code break »

it means to repeat something

why am i writing?
sudden interest in haiku
what’s going on here?

my head is too full
i need to let some words out
to make room for more

it clutters my mind
this thing that is the screaming
i am tired of it

in a flash i am
no longer me, but aspie
confused; there’s no cure

i can’t remember
what i was doing just now
my mind is broken

i don’t want to test
i want to learn karate
without any stress

i know this is gay
but it’s a fun way to say
what gets in the way

thinking in numbers
it’s fun counting syllables
words are what comes out

this story is done
coming out of my fingers
it’s an accident

repeat echolalia

  1. I felt a tickle
when you coughed under your breath
    You are distracted

    Your eyes are darting
My mind has split into two
    To read your movements

    To follow my thoughts
Spilling from my mouth like milk
    That won’t stop flowing

    I am forever
    Cleaning up after myself
    The milk that I’ve split
